Job Interview and Decision-Making Process
Congratulations! You have taken the first step. But what happens once you submit your application? We have outlined Bayer’s basic hiring process below.
- Once we receive your résumé and references, our recruitment team will check your application and make a preliminary selection in conjunction with the respective hiring department.
- Candidates with skills and qualifications most closely aligned with the position requirements will be contacted directly by the recruitment team and invited to a phone interview, an interview in person or an Assessment Center, depending on the job in question.
- The main purpose of the interview or Assessment Center is to get to know each other. We introduce our company, explain what we do and talk about the position you applied for in greater detail, including development opportunities. You need to play an active part as well by helping us to understand the level of experience you bring to the position and your passion for our company.
- We will inform you of our decision as quickly as possible following our meeting.
A hint from the Bayer HR team
We are interested in you and would like to see if we work well together. We prefer a relaxed atmosphere for the interview, which is why we ask you to arrive on time and be prepared for our meeting. Please be fully aware of the skills and experiences that qualify you for the position in question. You should be able to give examples of how you gained these in your academic, professional and private/social life.
